Asja’s president confirmed at the helm of assoRinnovabili

Agostino Re Rebaudengo has been unanimously re-elected president of assoRinnovabili* for the 2014 – 2017 mandate, during the annual associates meeting, which took place at Solarexpo fair on May, 8th. Members decided to reward the commitment and outstanding managerial skills which lead to the growth of the association throughout the latest 3 years.

“Today a new phase begins – Agostino Re Rebaudengo declared – there is still much to do: keeping on developing renewable energies and their integration in the electric market, investing in distributed power generation, smart grid and energetic efficiency, and, last but not the least, spreading the awareness of environmental impact of products, promoting the transition to an ever greener economy”.

* assoRinnovabili (Association of producers, industry and services for renewable energy) joins and represents the producers of electricity from renewable sources, providers of professional services, technologies and renewable components in the supply chain in order to protect rights and promote interests nationally and internationally. It is the largest Italian association in terms of those represented and one of the largest in Europe for the number of associates and installed power. It currently has over 500 members, more than 1,300 plants for a total of more than 20,000 MW of installed power in Italy and abroad using the power of wind, the force of water, the sun’s rays and the vitality of nature.
